The idea
Every card is a die-cut sticker with a thick white border, peeled and pressed onto the page a few degrees off straight. Fat rounded headlines, coral buttons, cobalt and sunshine badges, and little star and smiley stickers in the margins. It looks like the back of a well-loved laptop.
Sticker Pop is built on die-cut sticker culture: laptop lids, skateboard decks, zine tables and the mascots of 2010s indie brands. Cards behave like stickers — thick white borders around a coloured shape, a soft drop shadow and a slight random rotation — pressed onto a warm cream page dotted like a cutting mat. Headlines are fat and rounded, colours are bright but warm, and small ornament stickers (stars, smileys, arrows) fill the gutters. It should feel joyful, collectible and handmade.
Principles
- Every card is a sticker: thick border, soft shadow, slight rotation.
- No two neighbouring stickers share an angle; vary between -4° and 4°.
- Coral for actions, cobalt and sunshine for decoration.
- Fill gutters with small ornament stickers, two or three per section.
- Rounded everything: 24px cards, pill buttons.
Motion
Stickers slap onto the page: each card scales from 80% to 100% with a springy overshoot and lands at its own angle. On hover a sticker straightens and lifts its corner as if about to be peeled.
Do & don't
Do
- ✓ Alternate rotations: -3°, 2°, -1°, 4°.
- ✓ Give every sticker a white border and soft shadow.
- ✓ Alternate cobalt and yellow on neighbouring cards.
Don't
- ✕ Don't rotate beyond 6°.
- ✕ Don't use hard black offset shadows.
- ✕ Don't align stickers in a perfect grid.
