The idea
A lookbook for a streetwear drop shot on rooftops and in car parks after dark. Towering condensed capitals, asphalt black canvas, a hi-vis lime accent lifted from safety gear and a bento of night photographs. Loud, limited and on a countdown.
Street Lookbook is built for limited drops, where the site has one job: build anticipation and sell out fast. It draws on 1990s skate and rave flyers, hi-vis workwear and night photography lit by flash and sodium streetlights. Towering condensed capitals fill the screen; asphalt black gives everything weight; hi-vis lime is the signal colour for the drop. Layouts are dense and stacked — a bento of night shots, numbered product tiles, countdown timers and a marquee that never stops.
Principles
- Every page counts down to something: show drop dates and times.
- Condensed caps at extreme sizes — the headline is a wall.
- Lime is the drop signal: CTAs, timers, the marquee.
- Number everything: drops, pieces, units.
- Night photography only; daylight kills the mood.
Motion
A lime marquee shouting DROP 09 — 14.11 — 18:00 CET runs at speed under the hero; headlines slam in from the right in 500ms. Product tiles invert to lime on hover.
Do & don't
Do
- ✓ Show the drop date and time in mono everywhere.
- ✓ Run a lime marquee under the hero.
- ✓ Stack the Anton headline on three lines at 160px.
Don't
- ✕ Don't use daylight or studio-white photography.
- ✕ Don't round corners.
- ✕ Don't use more than one accent colour per tile.
